In autumn, many water and near-water birds migrate past my city. They stop in the coastal zone of the Gulf of Finland, where they look for food. It is often quite windy in these places, and you have to look for food right at the water's edge. On that sunny day, one of these birds - a dunlin - was feeding among the seaweed washed up on the shore, and the rolling waves created a very festive and joyful look - they reminded me of champagne splashes.
