Puffins are iconic birds, immediately recognisable by their brightly coloured bill and friendly demeanour. Photographing them is always such a joy and a privilege. I spent about a week or so last summer photographing them on one of the Scottish Orkney islands, and could not have been more lucky when this bird, illuminated by soft evening sunlight at the entrance to a small cave, displayed a daisy in its bill. It was just the perfect moment, which I was lucky enough to capture.

I live in the UK, but I am an avid explorer and get out in my campervan along roads less travelled, aiming to photograph the wildlife I encounter amidst some of Nature's most environmentally significant and diverse places. From photographing Puffins on a remote, snowy island hundreds of miles above the arctic circle, to photographing Dalmatian Pelicans in one of Europe's premier wetlands, I aim to capture unique and captivating images that inform and inspire.
