  In the summer I very often visit water puddles near my hometown. One, cloudless and windless evening I had an opportunity to observe there a few wading birds. The waves on the lake lapped lazily on the shore. The light casted rays that looked like flames on the water.. I was lucky to capture the Common Sandpiper during the evening toilet. This photo reminds me of the mythical phoenix, wings of the sandpiper burns in the last flashes of sunset.
