  Several curly-haired pelicans have chosen a marina in Izmir (Turkey) in winter. They were waiting for local fishermen, who fed them fish. I spent several days watching these birds. Adult birds have very expressive eyes, and the combination with the orange throat pouch makes for a very interesting portrait.
