I took this photo in Rausu, Japan, on a drift ice boat.It was very cold as I headed out early in the morning at 6:00 a.m. in the middle of winter to take pictures. As the sun was rising, I was able to capture a collaboration of Steller's sea eagles flying in front of the rising sun and Steller's sea eagles riding on the drift ice. I photographed Steller's sea eagles because they are very noble and cool.
