  After a long day at the Great Saltee Island finally the sun, at 10pm, starts giving us the perfect light for portraits. This puffin was at the edge of the cliff, hence the black background, receiving the perfect sunset light illuminating its full face with all its delicate details. Puffins are such small birds but with an incredibliy huge personality. Every year I spend a weekend with them for absolute bird bliss.
