5 days of heavy snowfall in the Alps forced me to go out in search of possible and interesting photographic shots. While searching among the mountains, a rowan tree was the only source of food for the birds, since the snowfall covered everything. Hidden, I spent hours and hours waiting for some thrush bird. A flock of fieldfares arrived, then blackbirds, and still other birds. The temperatures were freezing, but the fairy-tale conditions of that day forced me to remain still until the dusk

Born as a hiker and mountaineer, I have developed over time a deep love for nature photography. I work mainly in the Alps mountains but I also frequent river, hill and maritime environments. In recent years, aware of the extreme sensitivity of wild animals, I have been developing photographic techniques using wide angles lens and remote shutter. It's a technique that requires a lot of patience, but I put the welfare of wild animals before any personal ambitions.
I work with Nikon d5 equipment, I live in Monza and I love the extreme weather conditions how snowstorms and rainstorms.
