One evening, I went out on my bike to photograph ortolan buntings. While packing up after the successful shoot, I heard a grey partridge. Their numbers have dropped by over 90% in Europe, and they’re especially rare in Greater Poland. I spotted two singing birds. Excited, I returned at dawn with fresh batteries and SD cards. One partridge appeared in front of me, the other behind. In the soft light, I captured steam rising from its beak—a moment I’ll never forget.

I am a 18-year-old photographer from the heart of Poland. I began my photography journey in 2019, focusing primarily on capturing the beauty of animals, especially birds. My photography focuses on using light as an artistic feature, although I also really enjoy capturing moments where backstory and experience play a bigger role.
