After four wonderful years of competition and the fantastic 2025 awards ceremony, we have decided to embark on a major development project. We are rebuilding our competition website and rethinking parts of the competition itself.
Over the years, we have gained valuable experience and learned how we can make the competition even better, faster, and more flexible, while preserving what matters most to us: the personal nature of the competition and the active involvement of its founders throughout the process. We have also received many helpful suggestions and ideas from our participants, for which we are truly grateful.
We kindly ask for your patience. For a while, we will not be publishing new content, as we are dedicating all our energy to renewing both the website and the competition platform.
We know that many of you value this competition because it is personal, approachable, and community-driven. As we build a better platform, preserving that spirit remains one of our top priorities.
Birds, however, do not take development breaks.

We'll see you again in 2027. Until then, keep photographing and keep collecting those great shots!
