  • Story of the image

On a cold foggy morning in Bharatpur I went out before sunrise to try intentional camera movement ICM with the rising sun. As light slowly emerged through the mist I noticed a grey heron perched on a tree. I waited for the perfect alignment and began shooting with a slow shutter speed and small aperture since I wasn't using ND filters. My goal was to blur the sun’s movement while freezing the heron. Time was limited and after around 20 attempts I finally got the shot I was aiming for.
