There is a place on Saunders Island in the Falklands where freshwater originating in a spring cascades down over a ledge. Rockhopper penguins returning from a day at sea fishing like to rinse the saltwater off their feathers before ascending up the steep cliffs to their nests. There were many penguins and they were continually fighting over the rights to the shower. I waited there for nearly two hours on a narrow ledge but I finally got a single individual under the shower at a good angle.
