Waves

Waves

  • Story of the image

I was exiting our door when I suddenly saw a piece of feather, that was wet. The waves of the feather caught my imagination, I thought it would be really unique if I took a macro photo of the tiny details of the feather. I took the shot and I highlihted the photo by using black and white colours. The tiny feathers reminded me of the waves of the ocean, that's why I gave this title to my photo.

    Nikoletta Badacsonyi-Kovács

My name is Badacsonyi-Kovács Nikoletta. I live in Zalacsány, where my husband and I live with our two children and operate the place Pálos Resort.

I started taking photos about everything that caught my eyes, because we live in a natural surrounding that offers so many themes that you just can't get enough of. I got my first entry camera for 2023 Christmas and since then I am making photos as a hobby about etc. birds, flowers, macro and astro categories, too. Everything interests me that has a theme, I always search for it all the time I shoot a photo. 99% I take the shots from hand, because I catch the birds when I drive, walk or just do my things around the resort. I always have my camera with me but I never have the time to set up a tripod, so I shoot from hand. I have a Canon250D with a Sigma 150-600 objective. Not a good combination, I know, but you have to start from somewhere. Hopefully soon I can buy a better camera. :) Both my friends/colleagues and my family are calling me sometimes birdo-weirdo, because sometimes, if I very rarely have the time, I can go and sit/hide in a place for a long time, waiting for the best moment to catch, but I cannot rest, until I haven't taken the best photo I just can. :)
