While I was on a boat on Lake Kerkini during late winter, I had the opportunity to photograph some Dalmatian Pelicans that were on a small island. There was so much action, and noise, that it was difficult to know where to look. But these two birds caught my attention as they interacted with each other. As I focused on them, one of the birds grabbed the other in its gular, making for a unique, engaging and amusing image.

I live in the UK, but I am an avid explorer and get out in my campervan along roads less travelled, aiming to photograph the wildlife I encounter amidst some of Nature's most environmentally significant and diverse places. From photographing Puffins on a remote, snowy island hundreds of miles above the arctic circle, to photographing Dalmatian Pelicans in one of Europe's premier wetlands, I aim to capture unique and captivating images that inform and inspire.
