I put my GoPro 11 camera inside a rotten tree stump. I wanted to photograph coal tits. I left the camera in timelapse mode, so it would take a picture every five seconds. To my surprise, I managed to get a photo of a magpie. The bird had just moved its head to the most appropriate focus range. I put on a macro lens in place of the basic protective lens. I started getting to know the natural world when I was three or four years old. I spent hours outside in the garden observing the behavior of tiny creatures. Since 2016, I have been taking nature photographs, especially of arthropods. If we turn to the living world with openness and acceptance, it will show us unrepeatable moments. I take most of my photos with an inverted kit lens, but every year I like to try new things. Birds are another favorite subject of mine, especially in autumn and winter. Nature photography brings me peace and calm. I love the inner silence that always arises. Always observing leads me to be present in the moment.
