The crystal clear water of Lucerne Lake provides lots of opportunities to watch the Eurasian Coots dive down to grab a beak full of the grasses and bring back to the surface to consume. I took many images trying to capture the moment that the birds dived down and liked this image that I have selected showing the detail of the webbed feet which is the last visual you have before the bird disappears down with only a subtle hint of the bird in the depths of the water.
